The City of Manvel Community Services Department is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the city's infrastructure. Our Community Services employees are highly trained, utilize state-of-the-art equipment, and are committed to providing the highest quality service to our residents.

Report a Concern

You can report a concern or request through the provided links and phone numbers below. Concerns or requests for Community Services can also be submitted through the forms center.

Street Light Outage

Report a streetlight outage to CenterPoint Energy.

CenterPoint Energy maintains street lights throughout our electric service area in the Houston area. Please use the link above to report a street light outage. If you need to report a power outage please call 713-207-2222 or 800-332-7143, or view their Outage Tracker for current electric outage information.

When reporting a streetlight outage, you will be asked to provide: 

•     A pole number for the non-functioning lights you want to report
•     Contact information (in case more information is needed to locate a street light)
•     An e-mail address (if you want feedback regarding your repair request)
•     The number of street lights you would like to report

Missed Waste Collection

Report a missed collection to Waste Connections online, or call their service number at 281-331-0810.

Potholes

Report a pothole to the Community Services Department online, or call their main number at 832-336-4089.

Sewer Line Issues

For sewer line breaks and stoppages, please call the non-emergency number at 281-489-1212.

Gas Leaks

Report a suspected gas leak to Centerpoint Energy by calling 713-659-2111 or 888-876-5786, or by visiting their website.

Water Main Breaks

To report a water main break, please refer to the table below to locate the appropriate contact for your subdivision. If the City of Manvel is your contact and it is after-hours, call 281-489-1212.
