Residents who have questions concerning COVID-19 can call the Brazoria County COVID-19 Information Line mentioned above.

Brazoria County Health Department is currently investigating the confirmed cases.  They will contact anyone who could have been at risk of exposure, and will release information via Brazoria County channels to the wider community if there is a larger impact.

Personal information will NOT be released about any COVID-19 cases as that would  be in direct violation of HIPPA.

What is the City doing to mitigate the spread of Coronavirus?

The City continues to work with local, regional, and state partners to monitor and prepare for Coronavirus through the participation in various conference calls and meetings. Our Emergency Management group including the Incident Management Team and City Departments have been planning and preparing staff, facilities, equipment, and more to continue critical services to our community.
 

What are the City's plans for emergency operations?


City Staff have partially activated key personnel for the Emergency Operations Center in a proactive measure to stay on top of COVID-19 as situations throughout the country, state, county, and local level progress. Any additional information will be made public as events unfold.
