December Monthly Report
Completed Projects

Louisiana Street Bridge is now open to the
public. With help from Brazoria Drainage
Precinct 3 work on the Louisiana Street Bridge
completed in 14 working days. The following repairs
were completed:
- 7 caps
- 141 stringers
- 170 decking
boards
- 15 pylons

Clark Bridge is now open to the public. The
work was completed in 18 working days with the help
of Precinct 3. The following repairs were performed:
- 19 pylons
- 62 stringers
- 72 decking
boards
- 4 caps
- 20 metals rods

Master @ Uzzell on Tuesday November 14, 2006
emergency repairs were performed. With the help of
Brazoria County Road and Bridge Precinct 3 the
repairs were able to be completed in the shortest
possible time. To repair the bridge we remove 2 -
36" tin horns and replaced them with 14 concrete
culverts (36" x 6') and headers walls were built on
both sides of the road.

Water Plant on Corporate Drive (Well #1) was
serviced to increase the flow from 33 gpm to 80 gpm:

Installed a new
Aqua duty pump

Installed duplex
pump control panel with plugs

Installed Airite
610 tank for air control system

Well was jetted
with air
-
Water Plant on School Road (Well #2) after
investigating reports of low water pressure it we
found that the incoming power supply (supplied by
CenterPoint Energy) lost power and there was also a
blown fuse. CenterPoint restored power and within 30
minutes of the repair water pressure was back to
normal. We also installed a junction box and 1/2"
conduit to help with weather-proofing and for the
Airite 610 tank for air control system.

new fire hydrant was installed next on Highway 6
next to the Naked Rib Restaurant.
