MANVEL, TEXAS - On May 10, 2008 at approximately 1:26 PM, two vehicles were both traveling west bound in the 19400 block of Morris Ave (Hwy 6) when one vehicle, a Ford Temp, turned from the far left lane into the path of a Ford F-350 truck that was also pulling a utility trailer. All three occupants of the Ford Tempo were taken by ambulance to local hospitals. Later, as a result of injuries suffered in the accident, Shawn Muth, the front seat passenger, died. Muth's death is being investigated by the Harris County Medical Examiner's Office. No charges have been filed in this case.
