"VOLUNTEERS WANTED"
Applications are being accepted for the following Volunteer Commissions, Boards and Committees:
Manvel Economic Development Corporation
Planning, Development & Zoning Commission
Zoning Board of Adjustment & Appeals
Appointments are made annually and as vacancies occur. Most terms are for 2 years. Volunteers play a key role in keeping the City government close to the people it serves and provides ideas, feedback and suggestions and may serve as a sounding board for proposed policy. The City of Manvel City Council depends on the input from residents serving on Boards, Commissions and Committees. These Boards, Commissions and Committees advise the City Council, City Manager and City Staff.
If you are interested in volunteering your services, please feel free to print a Volunteer Application, or pick one up from the Manvel City Hall, City Secretary's Office, 20025 Hwy 6, Manvel, TX, Monday - Friday, during regular office hours. 2012 Tax Rate Information
"The City of Manvel, Texas adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's tax rate."
"The tax rate will effectively be raised by 2.43% and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $2.70."
